From the office furniture program DHS 20 comes the shapely and well-organized desk by Herbert Hirche. Hirche had already designed many pieces of furniture at the time. Then came the INTERBAU in Berlin in 1957, where Herbert Hirche designed an award-winning show apartment. Also for the company BRAUN in Kronberg im Taunus he designed many radios and the first TV. Hirche is one of the most important German post-war designers and his designs were always functional and restrained visually and in the choice of materials.
