Organically rounded shapes characterize this set of chairs from the Italy of the 1950s. The high backrests, paired with the filigree substructure, give the chairs an extremely sculptural effect. The special character is also characterized by the brass cuffs and the black frame with the light gray velvet. Comparable models of ICO PARISI around 1950 are reproduced again and again in comparative literature.
