The Cal. 853 by IWC was a factory-construction and production, an automatic movement with a so-called PELLATON lift principle. At that time it was said that this elevator principle would be the best automatic in Switzerland! Meanwhile, the manufactory is again equipping automatic wristwatches with movements according to the PELLATON principle.
