about this Item: | The double-seating group of designers Charles and Ray Eames, produced by Herman Miller. This model was designed for the O 'Hare International Airport in Chicago and is in use there to this day also in a group of 3. As upholstery cover the so-called Naughahyde is used, one in the USA produced artificial leather, which is comparable to that used in Europe Skai. Naughahyde is a polyvinyl chloride on a textile base. The Tandem Groups are designed as a modular system for waiting areas and applied with the durable cover and the substructure of the padding as a sustainable public seating. The seat and back cushions can be replaced on site and adjacent to the combination of the chairs they also can be connected using tables. Our 2-seater group is very well suited as an eye-catcher in a small waiting area or lounge. |
