Another piece from Berlin architects' household, the fine PEDESTAL TABLE by George Nelson. These tables are rarely found today. They show the fine, sculptural curves of the beginnings of modern furnishing in the USA in the 1950s and thus partly anticipate the development of the 1960s in Europe. Our piece is unusually well preserved. The elegant construction with the indented legs offers the best possible usability without restricting legroom.
