Inga Sempé says about her design: The frame of RUCHÉ is made of solid beech, tinted or natural. It was important to me to offer a version in natural beech; Natural wood is simply beautiful, qualitative, authentic, modern. And at the same time it brings us peace because it is one of the few natural materials that you can have in your living room. A thick blanket with special quilting, quilted upholstery with a square grid and interrupted seams rests on the delicate feet. Alternately held by the stitches or released again, the fabric puffs up in places, which gives it its special look and its name RUCHÉ (ruffle = a gathered or pleated fabric that is sewn onto a piece of clothing). The ups and downs of the cover create a variety of light reflections, the shadows vary depending on the fabric.
