The most famous manufacturer of tubular steel furniture in the Netherlands was GISPEN in Culemborg. Around 1935 the design and production of this filigree cantilever armchair 414 began. GISPEN formally went its own way, the Dutch appreciated the curved shape, which was also adopted by the armrests.

with few signs of wear. The decorative LADIES CHAIR MODEL 414 has been reupholstered and covered with black cowhide nappa leather. The Bakelite armrests have small signs of wear with scratches and small missing parts. The tubular steel has the original chrome plating with age patina.
