about this Item: | Not more than a small series of these rare, early stackchairs have been manufactured by Paul Schneider of Esleben at Wilde and Spieth. Very few copies of this chair model have been preserved until today.
Our model shows very well the shape - and living - feeling of the 50s in Germany. The broad base of the frame runs rangy tapering to a bent, serving as a handle back. Beautifully patinated shows the braid, which - still visible - was originally created in dark colour in the horizontal reinforcements. |
