The classic theme of a glass balloon lamp was varied here by Prof. Alois Gangkofner in the late 1950s. The slightly compressed ball shape and the longitudinal ribs give the impression of a paper balloon from Japan. The quality glass from Peill and Putzler is much more durable.

with few signs of wear. The reflector was slightly damaged at the bottom of the mouth. The cable is renewed and can be extended or shortened as required. Due to the matting of the glass reflector on both sides, the best possible diffusion is achieved, the socket E 27 can be fitted as desired when using LEDs, with a light bulb up to 75 watts.
