Apparently these are prototypes of a height-adjustable floor lamp from Switzerland. Puristically designed and using standard parts, the pair of floor lamps in the style of the RUSER + KUNTNER lights, Weil am Rhein, with height-adjustable shades. The lower central bakelite balls are designated "MICAFIL 2555-2". The manufacturer MICAFIL was in Zurich a producer of isolators for use in the electrical industry. Turning the middle bakelite ball results in the height adjustment and a narrower tube can be pulled out infinitely variable and locked by tightening. Attractive is the use of materials in contrast black/white/chrome. The wiring has been renewed.
