The Lifto lighting series was created through a lighting competition that Belux launched in 1984. The designer Benjamin Thut experimented with the movement of a gas pressure spring and based it on the trunk bracket of cars. The result of these experiments can be found in the Lifto family since then: The three joints of the lamp can be easily moved with one hand and do not change their position even with a large projection. The patented gas pressure spring provides a very large radius of action. This technology, which Belux has patented, is unique in the lighting sector. This of course also applies to the Lifto with table clamp, which is not only predestined for the office, but is also ideally suited as a reading and work lamp in your own four walls thanks to the wonderful direct light.
