Special Remarks:
Very few, age appropriate signs of usage. Initially, the M 125 furniture system was developed for Wohnbedarf AG in Zurich and presented in 1953 at the Basel Mustermesse. The M stands for scale, 125 for the unit of measurement on which the system is based and whose multiple gives the dimensions of the furniture parts.

For an industrial production at the Möbekwerkstätte Wilhelm Bofinger construction and execution had to be significantly changed. The sides and floors were made of plastic-coated panels in a very light gray-white, the fronts in oiled and sanded Afromosia brown or black. Due to its diversity, the M 125 system was very successful and was widely used in offices and living rooms.
