about this Object:
An icon of German post-war design and a desideratum for everyone, back then: the SK 55 by BRAUN, the so-called Snow White coffin, was in great demand in the 1950s and 1960s and also quite a bestseller. The devices were exemplary of the new design language of modern times, everyone wanted such a device, but it was not affordable for everyone, BRAUN devices have always been and have always been in the middle or upper price segment. Our specimen is clean, has been preserved in its original form and plays within its capabilities.
