At the age of 25, Dieter Rams designed the TRANSISTOR 1 portable radio for Braun AG in Kronberg. Even then, it followed clear principles: ease of use, material justice, clarity of form. Our copy is in good condition, the leather strap is intact and only one rib of the speaker cover has a crack in the melamine.
