about this Object:
The redesign of the Exporter pocket radio anticipated the clear design of the new entertainment electronics as early as 1956. The HFG ULM is responsible here and you can see it clearly. The Exporter has an innovative function: together with the charging station, which is usually no longer available, a rechargeable battery could be charged in idle mode. The station remains in place while the pocket radio accompanies the owner. Dieter Rams' pocket receivers are visible in the design, although they only came into production two years later in 1958.
