Very rarely offered in pairs, these two large overseas suitcases in the world's largest department store also offer an interesting story: stickers refer to a trip from Le Havre to New York on the S.S.FRANCE, the most luxurious liner of its time. Before the First World War, FRANCE only operated this route from 1912 to 1914. The suitcases each have a sticker “Genuine National Vulkanized Trunk Fiber” and an embossed sign “Macy's New York”.

Professional, historical luggage is a fascinating product group, as it offers sophisticated workmanship and design with a history. So here too with the two large overseas suitcases from MACY'S. When opened, the right inside offers drawers, the left side a pull-out clothes rail to transport the wardrobe while hanging and to be able to easily remove it. Both suitcases are fully functional, have interesting stickers that tell of past trips and the original keys are always present.
