about this Object:
BRAUN AG's music cabinets in the 1950s were partly designed by the Thun workshops in Jettlingen. Efforts were made to implement the new living style in the phono furniture. The device plays very well and is exemplary of the development of Braun AG's music cabinets in transit to the new design of HFG Ulm after the hiring of interior designer Dieter Rams, who decisively shaped the new appearance of the entertainment electronics. The ability to connect an external sound source, which was then a tape recorder, now offers the option of connecting a digital device for music streaming using a Bluetooth receiver and an RCA to Din 5-pin adapter cable.
