The fine floor vase looks so simple. But this is precisely the art of blowing the glass optically, i.e. in ribs that refract the light differently and create a moving surface. This effect is reinforced by the dark red thread. If the vessel body with the decoration rises and runs regularly, then true mastery has been at work, as here!
