The compact devices in the ATELIER series have been continuously adapted and further developed in function and design by Dieter Rams since 1957. The division of the separate compact device with radio, amplifier and record player in combination with separate speakers was groundbreaking. The Atelier series has a friendly, attractive design with a scale that is tilted towards the viewer and is easy to read and operate. The Atelier devices are all tube devices that, after heating up with the right speakers, produce a very warm and pleasant sound. The ability to connect an external sound source, which was then a tape recorder, now offers the option of connecting a digital device for music streaming via a Bluetooth receiver and an RCA to DIN 5-pin adapter cable.
