The Würthembergische Metallwaren Fabrik, called WMF, was the largest manufacturer of glass and household goods made of metal in Germany. From the tradition of art glass studios, e.g. WMF IKORA, the vase series comes from designs by Erich Jachmann, a former employee of Wilhelm Wagenfeld.
