OMEGA CONSTELLATION MEGAQUARTZ, the top model, here in a version from 1975 in stainless steel, with the original stainless steel bracelet! A striking piece of OMEGA watch history, it shows how innovative OMEGA was already in 1975 when it released a constellation with a quartz movement. It was not until 1980 that large numbers of cheap quartz movements came onto the market from Japan, so that the Swiss watchmaking industry was in serious imbalance. This product was highly precise and the forefront of innovation in Switzerland at that time, only available through the high price sector. The OMEGA MEGAQUARTZ movement, red gold-plated, sits in a solid, screwed stainless steel case with a winding crown with 2 notches, one for hour then for minute, as well as 2 recessed pushers for day and date. The silver-plated dial is provided with rod-shaped indices, just as rhodium-plated as the 3 hands from the center. The day and date window can be found at 3. The watch comes with the original stainless steel bracelet with folding clasp. This rare OMEGA, produced in typical contemporary style, presents itself in beautiful condition!
