age comensurate traces of wear. 2-part, pressed gold case in 18K/750. The original manufacture movement MOVADO Cal. 473 is silver plated, comes with 15 jewels and is in really good condition for a watch of this year. This is a hand-wound movement with full calendar and moon phase. The silver-plated, original dial shows clear age patina, outside with a date scale, then the minute track, gold, geometric indices in diamond or diabolo form, gold-plated hands from the middle for minute, hour and date. At the 10 window for the month, at the 2 window for the day of the week, at the 6 the constantly running small second with section for the moon phase. The month and day discs are inscribed in Spanish. The company logo is printed under the 12. At the 6 below Switzerland. This is the original dial with the original hands from 1950. The dark brown leather strap from Wempe is lightly worn and has a gold-plated stainless steel clasp with the Wempe signet. On the outside of the case there are 3 setting pushers to set the day, date and moon phase.

The MOVADO wristwatch with full calendar is a very tasteful watch with a lot of patina but also fine details in the best quality. The teardrop-shaped lugs, the solid 18 carat case with grooves on the side, the really unusual dial with charming age patina, all of this is normally no longer found today. Our piece comes from a collector, has spent many years in a safe and has only been worn on special occasions.
