Description:
This fine table clock was manufactured by JUNGHANS in Schramberg around 1950 in the very best workmanship. The brass case was covered with bone elements on the front. The background of the dial is made of pigskin, which was colored by hand with ZODIAC motifs. Behind the ground mineral glass, massive Roman brass numbers were placed on the dial ring. The rare clock is powered by a JUNGHANS caliber with balance wheel and anchor escapement, which strikes the hour on a small bell. Overall, the watch is in good condition, only the brass case shows slight patina.
