Description:
The LEONIDAS chronograph of the 1950s. Black dial, large numbers filled with luminescent material and clear hands filled with luminescent material offer the best contrast and readability. The robust, screwed housing with the round, formerly watertight pushers are a quality feature and are often used in e.g. to find pilot's watches. The watch has no military hallmarks. The chronograph hand from the middle has a minute counter at 3 o'clock, the constantly running small second is found at 9 o'clock. The good condition and the clear design of this beautiful watch remain to be emphasized. The manufacturer LEONIDAS merged with HEUER in 1964 and then signed Heuer Leonidas.
